Cardinal
I was surprised to see a cardinal nesting right next to the bike path, but when that flash of red caught the corner of my eye I quickly reached for my camera.
Unfortunately as I was headed out to do a little night shooting I only had my 50mm lens with me and so couldn't get as close in as I would have liked.
